My passion began when I was a child. As a family we had at one stage an Afghan, a Doberman cross, and a little Pug.
Having these pets taught me important lessons and sparked an incredible journey to where I am today.
As soon as I was able I focused my attention to owning just one dog, Jackson the blue heeler.
Educating and training him over the years was a valuable learning experience but it all started from his first lesson. My father owned a Bark Busters franchise and trained Jackson my beloved blue heeler.
From that first lesson, I immediately noticed a change in his behaviour.
The methods were simple yet highly effective for getting at the root of common problems such as barking and chewing. This experience formed the foundation for an exciting career and I immediately took the chance to join the global Bark Busters team.
One realisation I had is that the environment plays a crucial role for dog training. Most programs typically take place away from the pet owner’s home in either a classroom or local park. But this ignores the fact that most problems tend to occur right at home.
Although most sessions tend to be in small groups, it is often impossible for the instructor to give personalised training. This is what makes the Bark Busters methods so much more effective as it gets at the root cause of certain behaviours whether it be displays of aggression or excessive barking.
Dogs tend to be more receptive in their home environment as it is more comfortable and familiar. This is why training from Bark Busters is conducted right in the owner’s home. Doing this helps to eliminate distractions from other dogs and strangers which often only compound the problem.
“You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”
How many times have you heard that before? Dogs of any age can be trained with Bark Busters techniques and I have personally seen this firsthand countless times. Whether your dog is still a puppy or an adult, I can help with any behavioural problems you may be experiencing.
Bark Busters completely stands behind the training. Pet owners get a written Lifetime Support Guarantee for the rest of the dog’s life.
